There is one debit card, and I mean ONE debit card that I recommend using!
It would be counter-productive if I called this course "Credit Stacking" and started teaching about debit cards!
If you're familiar with the course, you'll know one of the ultimate goals of Credit Stacking is to expand your spending limit. This not only opens the door for financial freedom, but if you have the right cards, you're able to travel by just spending the points you earn.
I personally love to travel. I do it frequently and I use the points I gain from some of my favorite business credit cards (I have a whole binder of them!)
Charles Schwab Bank debit card.
I like it because it has:
Unlimited ATM fee rebates worldwide
No foreign transaction fees
It is saving me so much money in ATM fees! Especially since I'm always traveling internationally. It's been one of those things that helped me stop the little "leaks" that I would have paid without this card.
To be clear, I am still getting charged for the spending associated with foreign transaction fees, my Charles Schwab card just reimburses me for it.
For example, here's a sample of my bank statement when I was traveling in San Diego.
As you can see from the boxes in red, I had two separate deposits of $3 into my account. This is a reimbursement from the ATM fees tacked onto the $53 and the $43 withdrawal I did while traveling.
Using the Charles Schwab Bank card also saves me money because it saves me from other fees. Sometimes, when you use an ATM, you'll get a fee from the ATM and your bank with whatever card you used.
Some ATMs and fees will end up totaling up to a significant percentage just to withdraw money which is unacceptable.
As I said, I'm always promoting credit cards and building your credit, I'm all about saving money and unlocking financial freedom. Any good business owner should be aware and in control of whatever money may be slipping through the cracks.
ATM fees may seem small, but they can add up quickly! Take control of your money and spend it the way you want to.
Credit Stacking is a great way to gain control over your spending and where your cash is going. As a business owner, you want to spend your money, your way. Open the door on your spending limits and don't get wrapped up in paying for the "little things."
Having this account with the debit card allows me to turn my points from American Express into cash at a really good ratio. Then, I can use that cash either to pull out or to pull into different investment accounts.
There is even more that you can do with this card with your America Express account. If you're interested in seeing how you can do a 1:1 or a 1:1.25 transfer from your Charles Schwab account to your AMEX account, consider signing up for the Credit Stacking course!
